This is an 8" x 10" original oil painting/collage on canvas. Here, you see old tarot cards semi-obscured with a sheen of gold in the background. A large golden eye surrounded by lacework lashes opens to show you a hidden world within its iris. The word VISION appears at the top once in red and once in black. You see the sun, people, angels, cups, wands, and disks in a border of red. Dreamlike with many layers, this piece is the first in a series of eye paintings currently being worked on by the artist. The meaning has to do with a play on the word (i)dentity.
